I am a proud 23-year IBEW 332 member. I have served 12 years as a 332 elected officer in 5 different positions: business manager, president, vice president, executive board, and examining board.

I also have 9 years of firsthand experience with 332 operations as a business rep, lead organizer, assistant business manager, and currently as business manager.

After the tragic passing of our business manager, Javier Casillas, last year, I stepped up to lead 332's complex operations. It was the right thing to do while our local was reeling from the devastating loss. I have never sought attention or the spotlight. I’ve always just raised my hand and asked, “Where do you need me?”

With almost a decade in the 332 office, I know the ins and outs of our operations. I have successfully negotiated record contracts, solved members' job site issues, organized new members and contractors, run dispatch, educated members about our pensions, expanded union social activities, built our team, and supervised staff.

I’m stepping up again with all of my experience and my continued commitment to lead our local with stability, integrity, and consistency.

Your decision on who will run your local should not be taken lightly. Take a long, hard look at the candidates asking for your trust with your contracts, your benefits, and the future of 332 (including me).

Please take some time to read through my campaign website, (menu button top right, multiple pages) talk with other members who have been around for a while, read and watch the variety of endorsements, and please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly with any questions.

Proven Leadership | Experience You Can Trust

Delivering Results for YOU

Proven Leadership

I have 30 years of established leadership across every facet of my life. Always willing to step up, my goal has consistently been to advance the team and deliver results.

  • 12 years as a 332 elected officer, taking on more responsibility to serve the members across 5 roles: from examining board to executive board to vice president to president to business manager.

  • Elected by the membership 4x and voted unanimously by the executive board twice to fill vacancies: from exec board officer to VP in 2022, and from president to business manager when BM Casillas passed in 2025.

  • I have extensive field leadership experience, running work across T.I.'s, data centers, Levi’s Stadium, and much more.

  • In the Air Force, I was selected by both leadership and my peers to fill leadership roles in boot camp, advanced training, and at my duty station.

  • All the way back to high school, I have been voted by my peers to lead teams, such as varsity wrestling team captain and scout leader.

Boosting Your Bottom Line

I have fought to increase our wages:

  • Inside wages are up significantly, +34% in last 2 contracts.

  • Residential, S&C, and Material Handlers' contracts have grown significantly over last 2 cycles.

I have worked to grow our pension:

  • Inside Part B pension has more than tripled in the last 9 years, thanks in part to my educational workshops and ongoing work to help members secure their retirement.

  • Inside Part A pension is nearly 100% funded.

I have negotiated our healthcare benefits:

  • Lowered the costs for retirees from $330/month to $150/month, saving retirees over $4k a year on health insurance premiums.

  • Increased benefits for dental, hearing aids, and chiropractic visits. (First big increase in benefits in over a decade.)

  • Increased your disability supplemental benefit from $150 to $450 per week.

I have worked to expand our market share:

  • Our organizing efforts have resulted in over $50M of work annually for IBEW members.

  • Led largest successful organizing campaign with Blue Arc Electric.

  • Oversaw the  organizing of SJ Electric, Bird Electric & Western Electric with Brother Peter Huber.

  • Strong growth in small contractors equals a greater variety of work options for members.

  • We average over 90 active contractors, providing a variety of work opportunities, with over 40% of members working at smaller shops.

Supported by:

  • All business representatives: Nate Morris, Basil Romero, Will Smith, Chris Maag, Dan Sullivan, Chris Paup, Gil Ramirez, and Long Vu

  • Executive board officers: Allyssa Brown-Malloy, Basil Romero, Will Smith, Dan Sullivan.

  • President/Organizer: Peter Huber

  • Recording Secretary: Ryan Serene

  • Treasurer: Kim Davis

  • Former Business Managers Dan Rodriguez and Dan Romero

  • I have earned the trust of the ETASV leadership and staff, directly working together to ensure our apprentices have world-class training opportunities and to grow our program for our local's future.

Our Apprenticeship

Our apprentices and apprenticeship are foundational to the future success of Local 332. This belief is why I've invested several years contributing my time and experience to help shape our future.

  • Instructor for 6 years: 2019 - 2025

  • 4 years in apprenticeship classrooms: 3rd & 5th year

  • 2 years teaching Code Test Prep

I developed and instituted financial education classes in boot camp after recognizing a need for many of our new apprentices.

In addition to teaching for 6 years, I saw a need for education on our pension plans. I took action and worked with ETASV leadership to implement opportunities to teach our apprentices how to maximize their retirement plans.

From my family to yours, I am committed to standing up for 332 members by advocating for workers’ rights and negotiating great contracts. I am always striving to improve working conditions, pay, benefits, retirement, and work opportunities for all members.

Commitment

I am 1,000% dedicated to this local and the IBEW. I simply want to see our local thriving for the next 4 generations - with great contracts, strong working relationships with our contractors to create more work opportunities for 332 members  and add new benefits. I want to grow our apprenticeship which will strengthen our future.

I will continue to invest in our next generation of leaders in the IBEW.

Teams & Trust

Just as in the military and on the job site, success follows strong teams with strong leaders. I have been recruiting, building and leading 332's teams for years, with our business reps / organizers; our H&W&P Trustees; and ETASV Trustees.

Trust on a team does not simply happen with an election, it is earned with years of hard work and dedication.
